I have tried 3 other infusers before this one, if I would have done my research, I would have gone with this one first. It has many good reviews. I purchased this one because of its stainless infuser cup and silicon and stainless lid. I really wanted to avoid the plastic ones. The lid works great to cover the tea and keep the heat in while seeping, and then works as an infuser rest when you are done seeping. I didn't like the others because the holes drilled in the stainless were too big, and the tea would float out and settle at the bottom of my cup. This infuser keeps everything but the finest particles out. I've also tried the little mesh balls, and they worked great, but lose their shape, not very durable. This one is not mesh; it is a metal cup with extra-fine holes, more durable than the mesh ones. I loved this one so much I bought more 8 and took advantage of the 3 for 4 promotion; one for home, one for work, and the rest for gift baskets for my friends and family who are tea drinkers.

This is the best infuser I've ever purchased! I liked the first one so much that I ended up buying two more - a second one for my husband and a third to leave at the office. It fits in all of my mugs and it maximizes the cup space inside to give the tea some serious bloom room. The biggest selling point for this infuser is how fine the strainer is. I brew rooibos tea (a *very* fine loose tea) in one of these all the time and it keeps everything inside the infuser. This also means that it's easier to clean because you won't have dried tea leaves trapped in the strainer holes. I couldn't recommend this infuser enough!

Excellent infuser! I just recently started drinking whole leaf teas and needed a better tea infuser. One that would strain out all the leaves, especially rooibos. And this product does it! I bought it based on the good reviews plus that it strains out rooibos tea. It does leave a very tiny, tiny, miniscule, amount of loose particles in my cup, but that's nothing compared to what my tea ball left behind. Buy it! It's totally worth it!
