I bought these Crocs because I needed to replace my fisherman sandals and I thought that they would be a good buy and be as comfortable as advertised. Well, at $39.00 they are inexpensive but unfortunately, I got what I paid for. They are not as comfortable as advertised. I have put some off-the-shelf arch supports in them to make them bearable/wearable, but I will no doubt still need a new pair of sandals prior to next summer. Oh well, live and learn, I always say.

I don't know what I've been waiting for, I've had foot/toe join problems since my years in Taekwondo, and suffered for many years. Recently with my cleaning business I started having heel pain after long jobs. I finally tried these ugly shoes and they are WONDERFUL. It's hard to believe how comfortable they are.

Actually they aren't really that bad looking, since the holes aren't right on top and they match my pants. I might just wear them EVERYWHERE. I may have to figure out a way to wear them to a formal event! (maybe they should make shoes just for that purpose!)

First off, I LOVE CROCs. So, this is sort of a high recommendation for them and yet a review on these particular Crocs. I now have many pairs of CROCs and try to wear only them. I ordered these as I developed Plantar Fasciitis in my left heel because my own stupidity of wearing ordinary flip flops on long hikes and not realizing the pain in my heel in the morning was actually a warning sign (I now only wear CROC flip flops). When I got the Croc Relief, I compared them very carefully to the multiple pairs of classics that I have and, honestly, I can't tell the difference, except the classics have the holes on top. As a matter of fact, I would say the classics are slightly softer on the heel, but I was thinking I had worn them before and probably softened them up a bit. BTW, my classic CROCs made a huge difference in healing my Plantar Fasciitis.

So, as far as I'm concerned, you can buy these and get the same relief from PF that you would get wearing a classic but at more expensive price, but I believe they're actually the same. So, I would say try the classic first for RX relief of foot pain before you spend the xtra bucks on these.

-- Just an late update to a commenter posting below to this review. Actually, when I bought these, I "measured" down to the millimeter the heel AND the arch. I compared them very exactly in as many ways as I could think of because I didn't want to be wrong on sending back a pair of shoes that could actually help me. Measured exactly the same as classics. EXACTLY!
